Major Procedures and Important Checks Before Moving In

Moving into a furnished apartment in Jakarta involves several essential steps to ensure a smooth and comfortable start to your new life. By understanding the move-in process in advance, you can avoid unnecessary delays and enjoy a seamless transition into your new home.

Move-In Process
Prosper Points Realty staff will accompany you during the move-in inspection and handover, which typically takes about one to two hours. Move-ins are scheduled between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. If your arrival is expected after 4:00 PM, we recommend spending the night at a nearby hotel and completing the handover the following day to ensure sufficient time for all procedures.

Resident Registration
All tenants are required to register with the apartment’s building management. Prosper Points Realty will usually manage this process for you. However, if additional family members or residents move in later, you must report and update the registration directly with the building management office.

Furniture and Equipment Inspection
Before settling in, we will review the apartment’s furniture and equipment together based on the official inventory list. Three copies of this document will be made—one each for the landlord, tenant, and Prosper Points Realty.
During the inspection, please ensure that:

• The number of keys provided matches the list.
• The television and internet connections are functioning properly.
• You understand how to operate household appliances such as washing machines, cooktops, and air conditioners.
• Electricity and water meter readings are recorded accurately.
• You receive clear instructions on waste disposal, and how to purchase drinking water and gas.
• You are familiar with the use of shared facilities and, if applicable, how to register for the apartment’s resident application.

Coordination with Moving Companies
If you are using a professional moving service, please coordinate the schedule carefully to prevent it from overlapping with your official move-in appointment and inspection process.
